Writers' Circle is a meeting of authors who want to work alongside their peers on projects that they choose. By this point in their writing experience, many teens have a sense of who they are as writers and want to train toward the paths they have found for themselves. Writers' Circle gives students the community they need to stay on track.
Nobody writes in a bubble. While writing may seem like a solitary activity, it has a strong social component as well. When writers gather, they can share ideas, offer guidance and feedback, and present work to various audiences. Most importantly, they can encourage each other to grow. Writers' Circle offers a fun, creative, safe, supportive, and productive environment to invent new ideas, create new pieces, and develop their interests and skills.
Do you want to...
try new forms of writing?
delve deeper into technique?
enter writing contests?
self-publish your work?
polish writing you have already created?
get help and feedback on a school assignment before you turn it in?
meet other teens who have the same interest in writing as you do?
share your work with other people and reach wider audiences?
Then please join us for Writers Circle!
Writers' Circle is a free event.
